Girls night out baseball game plus weekly dinner menu

This week has gone by as quickly as the others. Well, theoretically … but in my mind, another week past by too fast. There has been something going on every. single. day of the week. I need to unwind but I never seem to have time too. Just one day to play catch up is what I’m looking for. Sad. I want a day to clean. I could think of lots of other things I would like to do, but cleaning my floors is on my mind. sigh. Adulthood can stink.

Week In Review

We looked at many, many, many houses for sale. The problem is the drive. We know we want to be in another state but the area is an hour and a half drive and that can be quite daunting to do daily. It’s not just looking at a house but learning unfamiliar neighborhoods as well. This includes night time cruises with hungry-tired-restless kids but we have to. We have to know the ins and outs of each ‘hood. Anyways, we’re getting closer but the search still continues!

I did get to enjoy an awesome girls’ night out at the Oriole ball park.

and discovered their bar too…

and I’m not going to lie…I had fun.

Then reality hit the moment I walked in the door and I was back on mama duty trying to figure out why my son was in my bed. 🙂

On the personal me side of things, I still haven’t completed week six of running. Why…because every single minute is packed full with commitments except for me commitments. It’s been like this for almost three weeks now. I think the end of summer is just a very busy time of the year. We also learned that my son didn’t get into public pre-k so we are looking for options (quickly) and things to do. We applied to two schools and he’s on the wait list. I won’t even go into how messed up the school system is. Please don’t make me.  I won’t keep quiet. Then again maybe it’s a good thing. Especially since we are relocating. I won’t have to pull him out early.

But, it’s another week and I’m looking forward to the house at the end of the road. Here’s what’s on our dinner plates this week!

003Sometimes its just more fun that way.

The week has begun and I’m excited for this one. Hey, I might even run. Oh that’s right, I have a 10k that I haven’t practiced for next week…Yup, I’m on it! 🙂

Have a great week! Cheers!
