Whole Foods
You may have heard to eat WHOLE FOODS. What does that mean? Well, a whole food is anything that isn’t processed, you can read and understand the label and usually consist of just what the item is. For example: banana is banana. It does not consist of any processed foods which you can normally find in packages such as boxes, bags, etc.
Why eat whole foods? So much research (and please don’t trust me look into it yourself!) indicates how BAD, UNHEALTHY, CANCER-CAUSING processed foods are – it would only make sense to take a step back and go with what our Earth has truly given us to feed our bodies, meaning whole foods. Our Earth has provided us with a bounty of food to feed ourselves and our soul.
Remember to shop on the outside aisles!

I’m all for whole foods and raw fruit and veggies. I’m interested why did you choose juicing instead of blending. my research indicated with juicing you loose not only the fiber but some vitamins. Please enlighten me with your thoughts. Glad I found your blog!
Hi Christi,
Thank you for the comment! It is true that you lose the fiber in juicing which also makes it less filling. I juiced when I was thirsty for a drink, but I blend when I’m replacing a meal such as a green smoothie for breakfast. Thank you for stopping by Mama’s! I’m really happy to have you here! – Amber
